After submitting your details for verification, we’ll then quickly go over it and make sure everything looks good. This usually happens within the hour.
How do you secure my data?
Your personal details and documents are encrypted, and your credit card details are not stored anywhere on our website or servers.
Unlike most exchanges, we also don't store any of your coins, but send them to any wallet you choose. That way, you can choose exactly what kind of security you want for your funds. As a global company, Coinmama is committed to being fully GDPR compliant, and come May 25, you will be able to see exactly how your data is used.
What are the fees?
Since there is no central bank controlling the bitcoin rate, each website has its own bitcoin rate. The price you see on our website is Coinmama's bitcoin rate and includes our fee of 5.9%. If you want to see the average market rate, we recommend TradeBlock's XBX Index. For credit/debit card transactions, the payment processor charges 5.00% additional fee. This fee will be added after choosing your method of payment. Apart from our fees, your bank may incur their own. If you're not sure, contact them before placing your order.
Why do I see a charge on my bank account but did not receive the coins yet?
If your payment hasn’t been approved yet, the charge you see on your account is probably only an authorization check created immediately after a payment attempt is made. This is necessary to "save" the transaction amount in case the payment is approved. If the payment is declined, the charge will automatically void within 48 hours, depending on your bank's policy.
What currencies do Coinmama accept?
We accept all currencies meaning you can pay with your local currency. However, the pricing will be displayed in USD or EUR with more currencies to be added soon.
